additional charges- backgrounds may have additional charges depending on the complexity, of up to $10. (transparent, solid color, gradient, or simple shape backgrounds are free)
- additional characters will add 25% to the listed price, per character. the same character drawn multiple times counts as an additional character.
- complex character designs may have additional charges depending on level of complexity, of up to $5.
- art intended for commercial use will double the price of the commission.

terms of service (pdf)by commissioning me, you are agreeing to these terms.

general terms

- I may decline a commission for any reason, and I do not have to provide the reason.- The product delivered will be a .psd file and a .png file of the artwork. The artwork will be sent through email or through a file-sharing service. The Client will not receive any physical products from the Commission. I am not responsible for producing any physical products.

process

- I will begin work on the Commission after the payment is accepted.- At the beginning of work on a Commission, I will create rough draft sketches to show to the Client. The Client may request major changes (outfit changes, environment changes, major changes to poses, major composition changes, etc.) to the artwork for free during this stage. After the draft sketch is completed and approved by the Client, major changes may have a small fee depending on how big the change is.- I will provide progress updates at my discretion. The Client may request progress updates at any time. Excessive requests for progress updates will be ignored.- At major stages of progress on the Commission, I will send the Client the work-in-progress for approval. If the client does not respond within 7 days, it is automatically considered to be approved.- Several factors may affect how long it takes to complete a Commission. I will tell the Client about any delays.- Upon completion of the Commission:
If the Commission was fully paid up-front, the Client will receive the product.
If the Commission was partially paid up-front, I will send the Client a watermarked .jpg file of the artwork and await full payment. After the full payment is received, the Client will receive the product.

payment

- Commissions must be paid either completely up-front, or at least 50% up-front and the rest paid after the Commission is completed.- Payment will be through PayPal invoice.- Up-front payment must be sent within 14 days of the invoice being sent. If the Client is paying in two installments, the final payment must be sent within 14 days of informing the Client that the artwork is complete.
If payment is not received in time, the Commission is considered to be canceled. If the final payment is not received, I will keep the up-front deposit.

copyright

- By Commissioning me, the Client is receiving only my labor. I retain copyrights to the finished & unfinished artwork.
This includes the right to distribute the artwork, use the artwork to promote myself, and to reproduce the artwork, unless otherwise agreed upon.- The Client may:
Share the completed artwork online with credit
Physically reproduce the artwork for personal use- The Client may NOT, unless otherwise agreed upon:
Share unfinished images of the artwork
Alter the artwork
Trace the artwork
Repurpose parts of the artwork
Remove the signature from the artwork-The Client may NOT, under any circumstances:
Reproduce the artwork commercially if the Commission was intended for personal use
Use the artwork in any way for AI image generation
Use the artwork as an NFT

required commission details

- An email address must be provided for the PayPal invoice, but is not required to be the main method of communication. If the Client prefers not to use email to communicate, they may use Discord direct messaging.- The client must provide at least one visual reference of the subject.

cancellation & refunds

- I may cancel a Commission at any time due to inappropriate behavior from the Client, inability to complete the Commission, or breach of Terms.
If the Commission is canceled due to inappropriate behavior or breach of Terms, I will keep the initial deposit.
If I cancel the Commission due to inability to complete it, the Client will receive a refund.- The Client may cancel a Commission before the draft sketch is approved. The Client may not cancel it afterward. The Client will receive a refund if they cancel the Commission.- There will be no refunds after the Commission is complete.

updates & corrections

These Terms may be updated at any time. If they are updated while a commission is in progress, that commission will follow the version of the Terms & Conditions that was effective at the time it was requested.Last updated: December 28, 2024
